iCATS Mobile App From Fry Communications Approved by Apple
Mechanicsburg, PA - 2/23/10 - Fry Communications (www.frycomm.com) has again received Apple Corporation approval for its iCATS Mobile App for "Your Community Directory/New Jersey" edition iPhone app. Fry also developed and launched "Your Community Directory/Pennsylvania" edition in December 2009. Both can be found in the iTunes store as "Your Community Directory/NJ" or "Your Community Directory/PA."
ICATS allows iPhone users to search the publisher's local online directory data and view the results immediately on their phone, putting an advertiser's essential information in the consumers' hands at the "mobile decision-making moment," and extending the reach of their advertisement beyond print.
Fry developed the iCATS app to better meet the changing market needs of independent directory publishers. ICATS leverages and integrates seamlessly with the company's leading FryCATS system, the turnkey, web-based, integrated directory composition and sales management system for Yellow Page Directory Publishers. ICATS is an optional module available with FryCATS.
FryCATS is experiencing explosive growth, with a five fold increase of directory pages slated for processing with FryCATS in 2010 over 2009.
