Covid-19 Response
There is nothing more important than the safety of our employees, their families, and our community. As an essential business in Pennsylvania during the Covid-19 pandemic, Fry has remained open with no lapse in service.
Our response has been swift, and we continue to meet or exceed State and Federal mandates. We have reviewed each department within the company. Where safety could be improved, we have implemented new protocols as part of our Standard Operating Procedures.
Channels already in place for company-wide communication have been updated to ensure that employees are provided with essential and continually evolving knowledge at least weekly.
Our management and supervisors are actively engaged in ensuring compliance of all safety protocols.
Additionally:
-
We have increased sanitation cycles for all plants and all shifts for all common areas.
-
We require adherence to social distancing guidelines.
-
We have staggered breaks and lunch times.
-
We have directed employees who are able to work from home.
-
We have limited plant access to employees only. No one else, including vendors, truckers, and customers, is allowed entry except for critical business, and they must have management pre-approval.
-
Everyone is required to wear masks. We have provided masks for all employees.
-
Employees with any symptoms of illness are sent home and required to quarantine.
-
Anyone testing positive is required to follow CDC protocols. Fry will implement contact tracing and communication protocols for those employees the person may have been in contact with.
-
Travel has been paused until further notice.
We continue to monitor the situation and will make adjustments as necessary to ensure the safety of our employees, their families, and our community.
