Fry Communications Wins Two Gold Ink Awards in Annual Competition
Mechanicsburg, PA - 7/20/09 - Fry Communications, Inc. won two awards in the 22nd Annual Gold Ink Awards, a competition co-sponsored by industry magazines Publishing Executive, Printing Impressions, and Book Business.
Fry earned a Bronze Award for the October 2008 issue of Interior Design, published by Reed Business Information, in the Trade Magazines (Web) category, and a Pewter Award for Musical America 2009, published by United Business Media Global Trade, in the Directories category.
"Consistently achieving this recognition from the judging panel is a great honor," said Steve Grande, Vice President of Sales. "It's a reflection on our customers as well as our talented craftspeople who put their best effort into every piece produced at Fry."
This year's winners were chosen from over 1,000 entries submitted within 48 different categories. Winning entries surpassed their competitors based on print quality, technical difficulty, and overall visual effect. One gold, one silver, and one bronze winner were chosen in each category; the number of pewter awards was determined by the judges.
Fry's accomplishments will be honored at the Annual Gold Ink Awards banquet on September 14 during PRINT '09 in Chicago.
