Fry Communications Readies Newest 10 unit Heatset Press
Mechanicsburg, PA - 2/28/05 - Fry Communications is preparing to fire up its newest 10-unit heatset web press as part of its continued expansion. This press efficiently delivers signatures for 6x9 products with up to 32 pages in full process color or 64 pages in black or two color. It is ideally suited to offer paper and production savings to book and directory publishers printing on a variety of uncoated stocks.
"This addition to the Fry environment presents a fresh alternative for book and directory publishers," said Henry Fry, President. "It also responds to the desire for small complementary pocket phone directories requested by many large format telephone directory publishers that we currently service on our larger format presses."
Signatures can be configured with various color layouts in 32 or 64 pages. It is ideal for softcover books and "mini" or pocket sized directories which are rapidly gaining in popularity. The press also features color to color registration controls and remote inking capabilities to ensure print quality throughout the production run. Couple this press with Fry's similar large format offerings and you have a unique "Big Fry/Small Fry" combination for many directory needs. Expansive binding, drilling and fulfillment/distribution operations complete Fry's complete scope of services.
