These slides work best with Microsoft® PowerPoint® 2000, but are also compatible with PowerPoint® 97. If you do not have Microsoft® PowerPoint®, please download the Microsoft® PowerPoint® Viewer
- If you are using a PC or a Mac and the Netscape browser:
Click on the link to the slide presentation in order to open the presentation in PowerPoint®.
- If you are using a PC and Internet Explorer:
Right click on the link to the slide presentation title below and choose "Save Target As...". Specify a filename and location for the slide presentation and click Save. On your desktop navigate to the slide presentation and double click on it to open the presentation in PowerPoint®. If the slide presentation has opened in your browser window, choose the File menu option, choose Save As..., specify a filename and location for the slide presentation and click Save. On your desktop navigate to the slide presentation and double click on it to open the presentation in PowerPoint®.
- If you are using a Mac and Internet Explorer:
Click on the link to the slide presentation in order to open the presentation in PowerPoint®.
- If you wish to cancel a download, click the browser's Stop button.
When the slides are opened in Microsoft PowerPoint®, please note that there are Notes Pages below each opening title slide including suggestions for the lecturer. There are also supporting critiques in the Notes Pages below each of the case discussions found at the end of the slide sets.
The slides can be viewed in either normal mode or slide show options. The normal mode is defaulted to view the presentations with default toolbars present. In this split-screen mode, you can see the content outline on the left side of the slides and the lecture notes below. Either can be enlarged. Lecture notes can be printed in advance if you wish to use the slide show mode. To use the slide show mode, click on the View/Slide Show for full screen viewing of the presentation. Arrows can be used to move through the slides.
- Click "File"
- Click "Print" and then the following: Print range - All; Print What? Handouts; Slides per page - 6 (or # desired); Order - Horizontal; Check box - Pure Black and White; Check box - Fram Slides
- Click "OK"
When using Microsoft® Windows®, to close a slide set from the normal, split-screen mode, click File/Close. To close the slide set from the slide show mode, hit Escape on your keyboard and then follow the above directions.
If you are using a Macintosh®, do any of the following: click in any window of the program you want to use, choose the program you want to use from the Applications menu located in the upper-right corner, or click the program you want to use in the Application Switcher.
