PROGRAM FORMAT. MTS can be presented as breakfast, lunch or dinner sessions. Breakfast and dinner sessions are 2 credit hours and lunch sessions are 1-½ credit hours. Topics for these sessions must be chosen from the list provided by the AGS Professional Education Executive Committee (see list below). Each symposium consists of three presentations on a subject of vital importance to a broad segment of annual meeting attendees. The panel of discussants should be limited to a moderator and not more than three speakers. Please note: the moderator must have been an AGS member for at least one year prior to proposal submission.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE. The AGS strongly encourages using the online proposal submission form, although hard copy proposal forms will be accepted.
REVIEW PROCESS. The Annual Scientific Meeting Program Committee will review all submitted proposals. Only a limited number of proposals can be accepted. You will be notified in early August whether or not your proposal has been accepted. The Program Committee reserves the right to modify submitted proposals. Within 30 days of the receipt of the MTS Letter of Acceptance, the following forms will be due to the AGS: Faculty Disclosure Form and Speaker Release Form.
